Bringing a child into this world is a joint effort, right from conception to birth. And as a dad-to-be, you want to be at front and centre through it all. Given that there was a time when fathers weren't allowed in the delivery room, the change quickly caught up and an increasing number of fathers are now witness to the birth of their children, being an immense support system. Labour and childbirth is the most intense, overwhelming experience there is. Although she's responsible for the most important part of the process, dads, your supporting role means there's lots you can do for her. If you go in prepared, stand strong, and try to stay on top of things, you'll certainly make the process easy for the both of you.
