Result marginally better than previous year; girls' pass percentage 7.43 more than boys
7.8L Clear Class 11 Exam, 1.9K Schools Record 100% Pass

THE pass percentage of students who appeared for the Class 11 exams was 91.17%, which is a marginal improvement from last year. The pass rate of girls and boys were 94.69% and 87.26% respectively, with a difference of 7.43 percentage points.

Of the 8.1 lakh students (4.3 lakh girls and 3.9 lakh boys) who wrote the exams, 7.8 lakh students (4 lakh girls and 3.4 lakh boys) cleared it. The pass percentage has improved, as last year, 7.1 lakh (out of 7.8 lakh) students passed the examination with a pass percentage of 90.93.
