80% Beneficiaries In A.P. Get Pension At Doorstep On Time

‘Two months’ amount given to those who did not receive it in February’

Over 47 lakh beneficiaries in Andhra Pradesh received their pension, which included social welfare and medical benefits, at their doorstep on the first day of the month on Sunday, covering 80% of the targeted section.

This is in contrast to about 10 days taken in February to disburse pensions to the beneficiaries, covering only 35% on the first day of the month.

The government-sanctioned ₹1,384 crore for March towards disbursal of pension to about 60 lakh beneficiaries, a release issued by the Chief Minister’s Office said.
