She may be about to play the Prime Minister’s fiancee Carrie Symonds in a new drama but actress Ophelia Lovibond’s Instagram account makes it clear she is no fan of the Tories.

This Sceptred Isle, about the Covid-19 pandemic, is being made by Sky TV, with Kenneth Branagh taking on the role of Boris Johnson.

Starring opposite is Ophelia, who criticised Cabinet minister and Leader of the House Jacob Rees-Mogg on social media before the 2019 general election.

The 35-year-old star, who lives in Hampstead, north London, also shared a pro-Labour video and wrote: “If you’re not sure who to vote for tomorrow, watch this.
