ACTOR Dia Mirza on Wednesday mooted the idea of introducing a legislation that will help consumers make a better choice while using beauty products in terms of their impact on the environment.

“There should be a law that insists that every single brand, every single product of consumption, whether it is make-up or toiletries, must include every aspect of its sourcing, an end-to-end journey,” Mirza, who is also the UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador, said at the ‘Shattering the stereotypes’ session of the Mail Today Femail Summit 2019. “So the consumers must know where every element of the product was sourced from and make better choices,” she said in a free-flowing conversation with India Today Group Editorial Director Raj Chengappa.
