Pak Pushes More Men, Ammo Post 370 Repeal

It has also marginally increased the number of troops deployed at the LoC months after the abrogation of provisions under Article 370 that gave a special status to J&K, according to an analysis done by the Indian Army.

With over 2,000 troops of Special Service Group (SSG) and special operations wing at the LoC, The Pakistani Army's numbers are more than that of the Indian Army's Special Forces deployed close to the Line of Control.

“The analysis calls out bogey that Pakistan has been trying to create of Kashmir being turned into a military garrison with nine lakh Indian troops,” sources said.
