Half of Dublin pubs planning to reopen next month as licensed restaurants
Almost half of Dublin’s pubs are planning to reopen as restaurants in late June.
The Irish Mirror revealed earlier this month hundreds of bars across the country are hoping to be back in business six weeks ahead of schedule due to a loophole in Government restrictions.
Many pubs which also have a restaurant licence are hoping to reopen on June 29, as opposed to August 10 under Phase Five of the easing of lockdown.
And now, according to figures from the Licensed Vintners’ Association, 44% of boozers in the capital will return early.
