THEO Brophy Clews has banished his injury woe and is ready to deliver on the talent that has long marked him down as a London Irish star of the future.
Playmaker Brophy Clews was part of the England U20s squad that lifted the Junior World Cup in 2016 but has seen his progress stunted by injuries and a six-month concussion lay-off.
However, he has shown immense fortitude to overcome those setbacks and lines up at centre against Worcester today aiming to prove he is the real deal.
“I’ve been pretty consistently in and out,” Brophy Clews, who turns 24 this week, told The Rugby Paper. “Every player will tell you they’ve had struggles with injury – for some it comes all at once, for others, it’s spread over a longer time.
