Magpies Find Their Wings At Last!
WOKING extended their unbeaten run to ten matches – but they were pushed all the way by a Chorley side who are beginning to fi nd their feet in the top flight.
Chris Holroyd fired the Magpies in front inside eight minutes but the Cards were level mid-way through the first half, thanks to a Dave Tarpey effort.
The point wasn’t enough for Woking to hold on to top spot with Tuesday night’s opponents Bromley overtaking them, but Cards boss Alan Dowson was satisfied nevertheless, especially having finished with ten men after Ben Gerring was sent off in stoppage time for clothes-lining Marcus Carver.
