Players and coaches of the National League club have released a Christmas song in support of the four core charities supported by manager Alan Dowson.
The Cards joined together and sung (or at least tried to) Merry Christmas Everyone, raising money for the Halo Childrens’ Foundation, Cherry Trees, Woking Hospice, and Emily Ash Trust.
The song can be heard on YouTube and donations are welcome by visiting gofundme.com/f/ woking FC- Christmas-song-2020
They may not get the thumbs-up from Simon Cowell when it comes to singing but we think Dowson’s boys are smashing hits.
Elsewhere, Hartlepool United have raised money for their local hospice – after paying a visit to The Grinch!
Club representatives, including manager Dave Challinor, recently visited a local Pools fan as part of a fundraising drive for Alice House Hospice.
Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation raised £350, which was then topped up to £1,000 by club sponsor Joseph Parr Ltd and donated to the Hospice.
