FARSLEY made it two home wins in a row to go second in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division.
But the Celts were made to do it the hard way following the dismissal of central defender Adam Clayton midway through the second half.
Farsley started the brighter of the two sides, with a couple of efforts from Ryan Watson, the second of which was well saved by Danny Platt in the opposition goal.
For the visitors Danny Udoh saw his shot trickle wide of the goal, the best of their opening momentum.
The deadlock was broken on 27 minutes when James Walshaw fed the ball to Richard Marshall, who saw his shot blocked, but Watson fired in the rebound.
