Jetting To Profits – For The Ninth Time

With a strong focus on cost-cutting measures to unburden its huge debt, Jet Airways has reported a net profit of ₹71 crores for the Q2 FY18.

Jet Airways continued with its focus of delivering a well-differentiated guest experience and improvements in key business performance parameters for another quarter. It reported a net profit of ₹71 crores for the Q2 FY18, backed by growth in capacity, revenues as well as accompanying reduction in non-fuel costs.

Stating that it had registered nine continuous profitable quarters, Jet Airways has successfully reduced its net debt by ₹194 crores (total debt on the airline is close to ₹7,300 crores), largely due to the many cost-cutting measures adopted by the airline.
