Friends thought that Kristian Paul Navarro (KP) adored his ‘rapper sneaker caps look’, but they did not know that the 34-year-old was in fact hiding a deeper issue. We talk to KP about battling hereditary hair loss for nearly 15 years, surprising comments from friends of his new hairdos, and how he was “content with being a skinhead – until I found HairSpec”.
What made you take the step towards hair replacement systems?
Image is very important especially at work when I speak at meetings, and to stakeholders. Apart from my aspiration to be a physique model, I got very limited gigs for acting and modelling back in the Philippines simply because of my hair.
