When it comes to Indians, a majority of us are introduced to automobiles through scooters. Whether we get a brand new one, or the family heirloom handed down from generation to generation, these twowheelers are our first taste of freedom as well as responsibility as they help us navigate the seemingly unpredictable journey that is puberty. No wonder we are so attached and loyal to the brands we love, and the thought of them going away seems depressing. But that is exactly what might happen if the government succeeds in their tentative plans of only selling electric two-wheelers in hopes of curbing pollution.
