Patti Newton It's Over

Entertainment veteran Patti Newton’s time on radio appears to be over for now, after she announced she was leaving the Nightline show. Sharing the news on Instagram, the mum of two admitted she was devastated.

“My last night on 3AW with Philip and Simon. I’ll miss them very much, have been with them and Bruce for many years. The end of an era and feeling sad,” she wrote.

Patti leaving the show would have no doubt come as a shock for her husband, Australian TV royalty Bert, as it appears to have been a trying week for the Newtons.
