The Northeast is a gold mine for travelers who like to take the untrodden path. There are many destinations across the region that are waiting to be explored. One such example is the seemingly ordinary town of Likabali. This little town may not impress at first look, but it has a lot of pleasant surprises in store for travellers who take the time to explore its mysteries. Located in the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh, Likabali is full of greenery, scenic beauty, and historical monuments. The headquarters of Lower Siang district, bordering Dhemaji, the town is finally making a mark on the tourist map after the opening of the Bogibeel Bridge. In a recent couple of months, more and more people have been turning up to see what the town has to offer, and my colleagues from Bongshar Jalti Das High School and I were no different. We knew that spending a whole day exploring the town and its attractions would be worth the time, and so we set out to do just that!
