We’ve all made choices in our professional lives that may leave us shaking our heads wondering. ‘what was I even thinking?’ but, the question is if you could, would you want to go back and do it differently? How Do You Manage Regrets In The Workplace?

Work on something that means a lot to you

This way, you won’t be wasting time on something that doesn’t give you enough satisfaction. And, you’ll be able to tolerate the inevitable long nights and little failures. By working on your passion, you’ll jump out of bed every morning with excitement.

Don’t make decisions based on bad days

There may be days when you can’t stop crying, but you need to know that this is a part of your learning curve and has nothing to do with how successful you are. If you mess up, you correct it. It’s that simple. But, using emotionally charged days as the reason to quit or to make drastic career changes is absurd. So when you’re faced with low moments at the office, talk to someone you trust and, if you don’t know, find out what’s really troubling you. Once you know this, you can begin addressing it.

Try not to take the critics to heart

At any given point in your life, and irrespective of how experienced you might be, someone’s going to tell you that you’re not good enough. If they’re right, then work on improving yourself, and if they’re not, don’t even bother thinking about it. Don’t let what they say demotivate you.

Be confident

As cliché, as it may sound, being self confident is vital. If you don’t believe in yourself and stand your ground, you can’t shake things up. The truth is once some people know that you’re insecure, they’ll walk all over you. So stand up a little taller and believe in your glorious self.
