HUSKY ENERGY DONATES ATLASES

Despite being published nearly three years ago, the Canadian Geographic Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada keeps making headlines. Thanks to support from Husky Energy, The Royal Canadian Geographical Society is providing a copy of the atlas to every middle and high school in Saskatchewan. The announcement was made online on Sept. 23, 2020.
“We are thankful to Husky Energy for making this remarkable publication accessible to so many schools in the province,” says John Geiger, CEO of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society. “The atlas will certainly help students in Saskatchewan build a better understanding of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, appreciate their contributions to Canadian society and ultimately begin the process of reconciliation.”
