Nikon Launches Two New Editions in its Z series

Nikon had introduced two new cameras in their mirrorless line-up—the Z6 II and Z7 II. The cameras feature a similar body as their predecessors but come with additional improvements. The Z6 II features a 24MP backside-illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor, while the Z7 II comes with a 45.6MP CMOS sensor. They also include two EXPEED 6 image processors.

With up to 10fps maximum shooting speed at full resolution in Continuous H (extended), the Z7 II can handle fast burst rates with more than triple (3.3x) the buffer capacity of the Z 7. It has an ISO range of 64–25,600, which can be expanded up to 32–1,02,400. It has 493 on-sensor phase-detect autofocus points that covers ninety percent of the frame. Also, the camera is capable of acquiring focus in half the light (as low as -3 EV).

The Z 6 II has a continuous shooting speed of 14fps, which is more than 3.5x the buffer capacity of the Z 6. It has an enhanced AF system that includes 273 on-sensor phase-detect autofocus points. It is capable of focusing in half the light (down to -4.5 EV). It has an ISO range of 100–51,200 that can be expanded up to 50–2,04,800.
