AR. BABU CHERIAN AESTHETICALLY BLENDS DECOR STYLES WITH SELECTIVE ACCESSORIES TO CREATE A BEAUTIFUL HOME FOR DR. HAMZA IN CALICUT.
Located in God’s own country in Calicut, the home of Dr. Hamza is a perfect example of how a home’s interiors reflects its resident’s lifestyle and is a collection of what they love. This apartment at Platinum Crescent, Nadakavu is spread over an area of 1,100 sq.ft, and offers a serene space with a beautiful view of the landscape.
Designed by Ar. Babu Cherian, BCA Architecture, this home has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the couple. The interiors is a combination of teak wood and light warm colours. The minimalistic treatment of the interiors creates a sense of warmth and belonging. The use of warm colours makes the interiors more light and calm, while the wood finishes lends a sense of uniformity. “A conscious use of mirrors in different areas, further enhances the interiors. The entrance lobby achieves a perfect balance by combining rich wooden flooring with minimal furniture.
