After having studied spatial design in Germany, she went on to study contextual design (furniture and product) at the Design Academy Eindhoven. In 2011, Alex moved to New York, where she worked as art director at Kick-starter and as design director at Mother New York. Alongside a permanent position as art director at NIKE, her portfolio includes brand work for Mociun, as well as Harry’s and Google among many others. She went on to start her own practice with Studio Proba in 2013. However, it was only a couple of years later when she worked on her first mural project, a 60-feet long piece for Dropbox’s headquarters in New York, that she hit the proverbial gold in the design world.
