What gives you the most joy?

Iqrup Dhamija: Creating comforting spaces that are a pleasure to live in.

Ritika Dhamija: One’s ideas coming to life— from conceptualising to seeing it in real time is indeed rewarding.

What puts you in a creative state of mind?

ID: I love travelling, walking around cities and soaking in the atmosphere. I scout for antique textiles or look for design details. It was a big joke in the family (before the days of social media) that whenever we went on a holiday, 99 percent of the photographs I’d take were of grills, railings, cornices and arches.

RD: Immersing myself in activities that aren’t related to design allows my mind to relax and wander. Being in nature, going to an exhibition or long walks usually does the trick.
