MY JOURNEY

AFTER GRADUATING AS AN ENGINEER, I worked in the US for seven years, but there was always a part of me that wanted to make a difference in my own country. After returning to India, I attended many workshops on sustainability. This is where I met Parameswaran Iyer, who had similar interests in bamboo, traditional crafts and rural economy, and I teamed up with him to re-imagine and re-envision the brand Bamboopecker. The brand provides safer, ethical and sustainable lifestyle products. We uplifted traditional crafts with strong branding and provided a stable livelihood to the artisans.
