MY JOURNEY

I GREW UP IN AGRA — MY EARLY SURROUNDINGS, the resplendent and refined Mughal-era history, monuments and cultural associations of the city subliminally shaped my sensibilities and gave me an innate understanding of design, balance and symmetry, and of harmony. After graduating in bio-chemical sciences, I joined NIFT, New Delhi, in their second batch, after which I started out as an assistant with designer Suneet Varma.
