I grew up in Australia and although I’ve lived overseas for many years, I still consider it home. As it’s been inaccessible for the past couple of years, I’ve surrounded myself with little things that keep me firmly rooted there: shells, pieces of soft, sculptural glass collected from a beach walk, paintings by artist friends, a marble table that sits in the garden (and came from the garden of my childhood home). And, of course, there’s always Vegemite in the fridge!
