The concept of “shared space” cannot be truer in any place than in a condominium. Tenants share the building and its amenities with other residents, from the gym, the elevator, to the hallways. Spaces are shared but identities remain undisclosed. While you do smile at each other occasionally and know some by face, we can never be sure of who we’re sharing our lift rides with. This is not to say that all your neighbors are as sly as Danny Ocean’s team but there’s no harm in being extra sure. Before setting off on the holiday vacation you waited for all year round, ensure that your living space is locked and your valuables are secure.
