This Petrol Pump Offers Free Food While You Refuel

For thousands of Bengalureans, the city’s roads are almost second home given the amount of time they spend stuck in traffic. This often takes a toll on their health and lifestyle as many skip their breakfast or meals just to get to their destination on time.
In an effort to reduce such trends that affect citizens’ health, a petrol bunk in the city is offering free food to consumers who stop over to refuel.
The novel concept launched in association with the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will be a reality at the Venkateshwara Service Station close to Indiranagar RTO on Old Madras Road starting this week.
A pilot project, said to be the first-of-its-kind in the country, will help Bengalureans who are short on time take care of their gastronomical health. The services, according to Prakash Rao, the proprietor of the 48-year old service station, will be available all through the day 24X7. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties of breakfast, meals or snacks will be on offer.
