Boost Your Value With Short Courses
Fitness Magazine|November - December 2018

The health and fitness industry is one of the most dynamic sectors in the world. Exercise science and research into nutrition are constantly uncovering new information.

Boost Your Value With Short Courses

This either helps to advance well established principles that work, making fitness professionals more effective, or uncovers new information that completely contradicts conventional wisdom.

Either way, to remain a competent and effective health and fitness professional, you need to keep up to date with the latest knowledge, and the correct application of that theory if you hope to remain competitive and competent.

Beyond the basics

In today’s highly competitive marketplace, a basic foundational degree or diploma is no longer sufficient to ensure employability, or your relevance as an effective fitness professional.

The best way to remain on the cutting edge of developments within the sector is to attend regular short courses to continue and advance your education. Available short courses from the numerous tertiary institutions in South Africa cover a broad array of topics and exercise modalities. These short courses generally take as little as two days to complete, but other more advanced courses can run for six months.
