It’s not very often that you hear of a lady angler catching a 100lb-plus fish in UK waters, but Iona Campbell, daughter of legendary skate skipper Ronnie Campbell of Laura Dawn II, based in Oban, Scotland, has actually managed to achieve this incredible dream, not once, nor twice, but a staggering three times this calendar year!

She puts a lot of her big-fish captures down to the influence of her dad, who has inspired her from a very young age, and without who she would probably not have got the break to fish so far from home and rub shoulders with such great anglers.
