Cartier’s Women’s Initiative Awards finalist, Priya Prakash may have a solution to our country’s alarmingly high childhood obesity rate.

A teenager, who struggled with yo-yo dieting and self-esteem issues, is now set to revamp the health of India’s youth. 27-year-old Priya Prakash spent most of her school years being bullied for her weight and fussing over food portion sizes. This battle, along with the shocking rise in childhood obesity, inspired Prakash to start HealthSetGo, a company that empowers children with the knowledge of nutrition and provides easy access to healthcare. The efforts won her a prized place as one of the 21 global finalists for Cartier’s Women’s Initiative Awards that honours entrepreneurs who have been catalysts of change in their communities. HealthSetGo has partnered with over 200 schools across 77 cities across India, and has influenced the lives of 1,50,000 students.
