Farewell To David Cassidy

The ’70s heartthrob passed away last week surrounded by family and friends.

After living one of the most colourful lives in the entertainment industry, The Partridge Family star David Cassidy sadly passed away last week in a Florida hospital at the age of 67.

The 1970s teen heartthrob, who was once almost deported from Australia after prompting mass hysteria from fans Down Under at the height of his music and television career, died of multiple organ failure following a battle with dementia.

“David died surrounded by those he loved, with joy in his heart and free from the pain that gripped him for so long,” his family said in a statement to his fans. “Thank you for the abundance and support you have shown him these many years.”
