When your best friend’s marriage ends, it usually follows that her ex-husband is immediately dumped from your social circle. However, it appears Jennifer Aniston’s closest friend Courteney Cox doesn’t follow that rule, after she was spotted sneaking into Jen’s former Manhattan marital home, which is still occupied by her ex Justin Theroux.

And it wasn’t just a casual house call – Courteney, who is engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid – came armed with a party-sized bottle of Grey Goose vodka, ready to help celebrate Justin’s 48th birthday.

“Jen never liked it much, but Courteney insisted on keeping in touch with Justin even after they split up,” says a source.
