When Max left Walford a couple of months ago after his daughter Abi’s funeral and saying goodbye to his newborn orphaned granddaughter, it was good riddance to bad rubbish as far as everyone was concerned.

With the Willmott-Browns’ help, Max had wreaked havoc, turning lives upside down, wrecking relationships, ruining businesses, hurting people and breaking hearts.
