After an intense shift, widowed nurse Faith Cadogan and best friend doctor Stevie Nash blow off some steam with a night out. But hours later they're back at the ED, with Stevie needing stitches for a head injury!

Over drinks at a club Stevie (Elinor Lawless) insists Faith's not over husband Lev's death yet. Irritated by this, Faith approaches handsome stranger Angus, who chatted her up earlier, and invites him back to hers!
