Rupert Friend talks about what’s in store for former CIA agent Peter Quinn this series

When Homeland returned for its sixth series last week, fans of the US thriller were shocked to see Peter Quinn’s condition after his near fatal exposure to sarin gas last series.

Now, having given up hope of making any further improvement, the CIA agent is pushing away his friend Carrie (Claire Danes) as he languishes in her basement after leaving hospital.

We spoke to British actor Rupert Friend, who plays Quinn, about his character’s ordeal…
