It’s thought that our earliest experiences have the greatest impact on our adult personalities, but discovering what actually happens in a baby’s mind is – unsurprisingly – hard to research.

In the new series Babies: Their Wonderful World, a team of experts try to answer questions about how babies acquire language and fine motor skills, whether they can control their emotions, how they learn altruism and more.
