Aldo Kane exposes South East Asia’s illegal tiger trade
Fewer than 4,000 tigers remain in the wild, but more than 8,000 are held in captive facilities in South East Asia, where people breed and slaughter the majestic big cats to make products – such as tiger-bone wine – which are believed to have a medicinal value.
In his eye-opening documentary Tigers: Hunting the Traffickers, former Royal Marine Aldo Kane sets out to covertly film these illegal tiger farms and the criminal networks that run them. Here, the 42-year-old explorer tells us more…
