Second Time Lucky!

James nesbitt rolls the dice once more as Stan Lee’s Lucky Man returns.

In series one of Stan Lee’s Lucky Man, the glossy, London-set fantasy crime drama from the veteran co-creator of Spider-Man and Iron Man, we learned there’s a price to pay for the gift of good fortune.
The lucky man in question, Detective Inspector Harry Clayton – played by James Nesbitt, had a destructive gambling habit. But when he acquired a mysterious Chinese bracelet that confers good luck on the wearer, Harry’s fortunes appeared to be on the upturn and he went on a winning streak.
DAMAGE
But he realised the powers of the bracelet caused every positive event to be balanced out by a negative event – and the benefits of the charm were soon outweighed by the damage done to Harry’s nearest and dearest by the evil Golding, who was desperate to possess it.
When we left off, Harry had escaped from prison after being framed for murder, his brother had been beaten to a pulp, his boss, DS Winter (Steven Mackintosh), shot in the chest, and his daughter, who was held at gunpoint with Harry’s estranged wife, nearly drowned. The superpower of being lucky is not, it seemed, all it’s cracked up to be.
As we rejoin the action, Harry and his colleague, Suri (Amara Karan), are investigating a serial killer who is poisoning victims, and the hunt is on for Golding, who escaped at the end of series one.
BEST INTENTIONS
However, as Harry explains to Eve (Sienna Guillory), who originally gave him the bracelet and whose mother was killed by Golding, he won’t be trusting luck this time.
