The future of Nonnatus House comes under threat in Call the Midwife

As 1965 dawns in the new series of Call the Midwife, a huge wind of change is blowing through the East End, with Poplar facing a big shift as swathes of the area are being demolished as part of slum clearance.

The new construction plans put the nuns and midwives’ beloved home, Nonnatus House, at risk and the team are worried about their future as everything is changing.
