End Of The Line?
April 29,2017
|TV & Satellite Week
Adrian Dunbar gives us the inside track on the breathtaking climax to addictive thriller Line of Duty.

Line of Duty has seen police anti-corruption squad AC-12 face its toughest adversary yet in the form of brilliantly clever DCI Roz Huntley (Thandie Newton). She has turned their investigation into her possible wrongdoing on its head and left the department itself under threat.
As the fourth series draws to a dramatic close this week, Superintendent Ted Hastings, played by Adrian Dunbar, is under intense pressure. He’s not only fighting for the survival of his team, but for his own career after ACC Hilton (Paul Higgins) made accusations against him. What will become of them and, more to the point, will slippery Roz get her comeuppance? Here, Dunbar gives us the lowdown…
What can you tell us about the finale?
It gets very tense. AC-12 is really up against it and the whole thing could come crashing down around us. Ted being accused of corruption was a shock for me. I didn’t think it would take that turn, so that was scary. These things have been hanging over Ted and he’s not happy that Hilton is trying to turn the focus on him. It gets quite interesting how everything is resolved…
