Traveled with my neighbor Sis, to MumbaiTIFR. Her brother was a Research Scholar there.
My maternal aunt too was in Mumbai, and I planned to visit her too.
5 of us started trekking. The train lover in me enjoyed the journey. And being my first trekking experience, I was more excited and curious. (Peb fort, also known as Vikatgad, is located approximately 80 km from Mumbai.)
As our trekking began, the adventure vibes filled my heart! Hardly any people around! Somehow I managed to climb uphills confidently in the initial hour but the real adventure began when it was challenging with a few steep paths, and I slipped at certain spots...
My neighbor brother, sis, his wife, and another friend, all were quite experienced. They quietly climbed.
But fear engulfed me when I was almost losing grip at a spot and all I screamed was, "MujheBachao", while they were slowly trekking ahead. I laugh now thinking of those moments, but it truly left me in panic then. They helped me climb up, and I had a sigh of relief! I grin, as I write.
I trekked further cheerfully as if nothing happened, and unwinded, nourished by the breath-taking view all around, and screaming from the top of the hill, "I love you Nature/Krishna" hoping for an echo!

A SHORT WALK ON THE MEMORY LANE
Nostalgia is both an ache and a draught, a draught more aptly as it provides the required energy to the wistful heart and patiently remains one’s undeterred friend during lonesome times and even transporting one to the blissful world of memories far away from the tension-ridden beguiling present.

Wandering Into the Nostalgic Lane to Seal a Promise
Distantly, what caught their breadth was the seraphic view of snow-capped Himalayas at the backdrops, partially covered in the thin blanket of white clouds. The air was crisp with a hint of Nostalgia as the sound of the nearby streams whispered tales of their past.
