Are you looking forward to the tour?
Natassja Shiner (singer): “Very much so. We haven’t played for a long time so we’ve been itching to get back on the road. We’ve been finishing our album and writing incessantly for the past couple of months. It’s always the way – when you’re on tour you desperately want to write and if you’re writing loads you really want to go on tour.”
Did you tear up LA while recording your album?
“It was really cool, a bit surreal. LA is a weird place. We were staying in the valley in the baking heat. I feel like we did all the novelty things. We went to Venice Beach and did the canals and we went to Six Flags and there was a lot of celebrity spotting. There’s this bar in Silver lake, and every single night Lana Del Rey was in there. I think the guys saw Kim and Kanye one night in Soho House.”
