Fears kidney transplant won’t save music legend
BATTLING for his life, music legend Stevie Wonder is in such desperate straits he’s facing the end in just seven months — even if he gets a kidney transplant, say sources.
The blind 69-year-old singer of hits like Superstition and I Was Made to Love Her knows finding a suitable organ donor won’t insure his survival, insiders say. Stevie is bravely saying his final farewells and planning a starstudded funeral — going out with a grand Motown send-off, according to pals.
“Stevie is hoping for the best, but also preparing for the worst,” says a source. “He’s lived with medical challenges all his life but this is his biggest one yet!
“And he knows that he may not make it to next February, even if his body doesn’t reject his new kidney!”
