Netflix and chill. Getting it on. Hooking up. Doing the nasty. Getting lucky. Call it what you want, but the general consensus is, everyone likes sex. Birds, bees, humans, everyone. And when it comes to sex, the questions never seem to stop. While sex education is mandatory in schools, most textbooks don’t deal with the big, pressing questions. From the hows to the whys, if you’re itching for some answers, you’ve come to the right place. We got experts to shed some light on the common sexual concerns women have.

‘WHY CAN’T I ORGASM?’

Contrary to popular belief, penetrative sex doesn’t always end with the big O. Blame all the movies you’ve watched and books you’ve read if you think women can orgasm as easy as one-two-three. Clitoral stimulation is what leads you to a climax, for the simple reason that the concentration of nerve endings there is much higher. “The clitoris is usually ignored during intercourse. Actively engaging or stimulating the clitoris can often do the trick. Good sex isn’t just intercourse. It involves foreplay, massaging and oral sex too. Your chances of climaxing go up, and it’s more fun to explore too,” says Aaisha Khan, clinical psychologist at Juno Clinic, Mumbai.

PS: Set up a date with yourself. Some self-love is your best bet to finding out what works for you.
