MARVELLOUS MOCKTAILS

Rocktails founders Chris and Katie love frozen drinks. They also love cocktails. And because they’re passionate about health too, they decided to launch a range of frozen mocktails from their South Brent base, designed either to be enjoyed alone or mixed with a cheeky tipple.

Offering “a sip of escapism from the everyday”, Rocktails contain no artificial flavourings, sweeteners, colours or preservatives, and each serving pouch is under 90 calories.

The range was only launched in December 2015, and already the pair are offering both pouches to drink at home and now retro granita machines which they’re launching into bars to use with their drinks this summer.

Currently, the Rocktails range features four blends: The Mockito with lime, mint and yuzu; The Sunset Sling with passionfruit, mango and guava; The Coco-Colada with pineapple, coconut water and guanabana and their newest flavour, launched this July: The Thyme Collins. The combination of fresh lemon juice and thyme pays homage to the fresh lemonade that Chris enjoyed as a child, along with one of his favourite drinks, the Tom Collins – he says it pairs perfectly with gin too…

Katie and Chris continue to experiment with herbs, botanicals and teas to continue their mission to “redefine the mocktail marketplace” – we’re looking forward to seeing what’s on the horizon… www.rocktails.co.uk
