Does the number 86,400 mean anything to you? It is quite a significant number to be honest.
It represents the number of seconds that each of us are given in a single day (1 day = 24 hours/day x 60 minutes/hour x 60 seconds/ minutes = 86,400 seconds/day). What do you do with this gift of time? Truth be known, attempting to juggle all the things you must do in this thing we call life is mind-boggling and challenging. From keeping yourself fit, making your spouse happy, raising the kids, providing for the home, interacting with friends, doing your best at the job, putting a smile on the bosses’ face, and staying sane, to say that you have a lot on your plate would be an understatement.
On the treadmill of life, no doubt the goal is to “have it all” however, if you can’t you certainly ought to be able to balance everything you’ve got and live a joyful, pleasant and satisfying life. To get to this place of happiness you should have a work-life balance.

What is that? Work-life balance is a concept that describes the ideal of splitting one’s time and energy between important aspects of one’s life and work. Areas of life other than work-life can be such things as personal interest, family, leisure activities, social gatherings, etc. Acquiring and achieving a quality work-life balance is a daily challenge. An individual who doesn’t make time for self-care and contentment, eventually damages their performance at work.
