Use your iOS photos to create a photographic keepsake with Motif

The Motif extension on Mac has been around for a while, making it easy to create and order photobooks long after Apple discontinued its own service. And now the easy-to-use software is available on iOS.

RR Donnelley – the company behind Motif – was actually responsible for printing Apple’s photobooks, so you can be assured you’ll end up with a quality product.

Just like on Mac, the iOS app comes with multiple customization options, including an automatic selection tool that avoids duplicates

and photos that aren’t focused properly. If you’d rather not rely on this, and fancy your own design freedom, you can also create your own book from scratch; designing each page, adding custom text and choosing between hardcover and softcover options.

If you’re thinking of creating a different kind of photo product in the future, Motif says the ability to produce wall tiles and calendars will soon be coming to the iOS app.
