Apple’s Photos app does a great job of enabling you to fix common problems with colour, tone, and composition. However, when it comes to producing more creative results (such as creating layered composite images) you’ll need Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020. Although Photoshop Elements is considered a cut-down version of Photoshop CC, it is perfect for your creative photo-editing needs. It even boasts tools that are absent in the full version of Photoshop, such as the ability to ‘open’ (or to be more accurate ‘replace’) closed eyes in a family portrait.
