A secret meeting in June might have been brushed off as simply a dinner between new friends, but there was no denying the spark of romance when Angelina Jolie was spotted out for a second time with The Weeknd recently. The pair were sprung leaving Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on September 25, after enjoying a romantic dinner at the celebrity hotspot.

Jolie and the ‘Blinding Lights’ singer, 31, arrived separately at the eatery, before spending two and a half hours inside a private section where they were reportedly locked deep in conversation. But they didn’t seem to mind being pictured together as they left, with the actress walking out just a step in front of her rumoured beau.

And the date didn’t appear to end there, with Jolie, 46, captured hopping into the Canadian crooner’s awaiting black SUV before they drove to his new $97 million Bel-Air mansion together. It’s the second time the pair have been seen out together in recent months. On June 30, the pair also had a dinner at Giorgi Baldi where they are said to have discussed the musician’s upcoming foray into the acting world. “They’re clearly not trying to hide the dinner date,” an insider told Page Six at the time. “He’s definitely focused on getting into the movie business. He has the new HBO series he’s starring in.”
