My darling is dead!

Dintle is absolutely shattered following Quinton’s death, and Mapaseka shares in her character’s grief.

The much adored and powerful Quinton Nyathi (Brighton Ngo-ma) is dead. Sadly there are no miraculous comebacks for the character who crawled into our hearts since his charming first appearance in 2008. He is truly gone, and his baby mama great love Dintle (Mapaseka Koetle-Nyokong) isn’t coping. “Her life is just falling apart,” says Mapaseka.

There’s always been a special bond between Quinton and Dintle, even before their daughter Khanyi (five-year-old Kai-Ann Munyaka) came into the picture. But Mapaseka says that the last few weeks have been exceptional as the pair found love and stability in each other’s company. “It was so beautiful! They spoke about being a power couple, running the NFH empire together, raising a beautiful child and travelling,” reveals Mapaseka. “She truly imagined that’s where their relationship would go. Sadly, it didn’t happen.”
